What Is Tawah ?

Our Story…

The Tawah Youth Leadership Program is all about helping youth 13 through 18 to find their inner leader, Tawah offers many levels of our program so we can help youth better their lives and connect with the community, no matter what their lifestyles.

We offer a 12 session curriculum designed to help youth (and even adults too!) realize their inner leader; teaching or enforcing life skills to facilitate success in all levels of life. This Leadership program draws from different disciplines incorporating a comprehensive program that addresses the emotional and psychological wellbeing of teens who need to refocus or just want more confidence in their lives.

From there, youth can continue on from the program above, or even just get involved and socialize in the community without the 12 session program because we offer more on- going activities and programs. For example, The human rights course, volunteering, and teen parties held by Tawah to give a safe haven for teens looking to unwind and have fun.

We were founded in 2004 and have our humble beginnings in Columbus, Ohio, seven years ago. as our youth leaders grew and some moved to the west coast, so too did Tawah expand and diversify. As we said above, we help young people of all backgrounds who want to move on to greater and better things in their lives.

Tawah offers the realization of Leadership of healthy and whole young people, who then become contributors to a better community and world. Leadership begins with learning how to trust one’s self, then others.
